In effect, a few meters from our apartment there are places that have made the history of the Venetian city.
For example, from Verona Easy Loft it is possible to reach in a few minutes one of the most original religious buildings in Verona: the church of San Fermo Maggiore.
This majestic Basilica, rich in sculptures and frescoes, combines the typical characteristics of Roman and Gothic styles.
The church of Santa Eufemia - instead - is located right in the historic center, near Porta Borsari and Ponte della Vittoria.
Built between 1275 and 1450 by the Augustinian friars, this building has a magnificent fifteenth-century portal and inside it houses paintings by renowned Veronese painters such as Jacopo Ligozzi, Agostino Ugolini and Claudio Ridolfi.
In addition, inside the church of Santa Eufemia is the fourteenth century sarcophagus of the Dal Verme: a monumental work consisting of a marble arch supported by four columns and dominated by the beautiful canvas with images of the Madonna and the prophets painted by Felice Brusaorzi.
