A recipe by Emanuela: the chocolate and Rosada pears cake

Today we offer you the recipe for a dessert with a special taste: the cake with chocolate and Rosada pears .

Rosada pears are easily recognizable because they have a round shape and their color is between yellow and reddish.
This delicious fruit has a juicy and sweet flesh, is perfectly preserved and is ideal for preparing pies and cakes.

The sweetness of the pear combined with the intense taste of dark chocolate is a perfect combination for a snack with friends or for a breakfast with your family.
In addition, the pleasant smell that surrounds the kitchen during preparation will immediately make you mouth water!

To prepare our chocolate and pear Rosada cake we need:

-200 gr dark chocolate
-4 eggs
-160 gr butter
-200 gr toasted hazelnuts
-120 grams sugar
-1 Rosada pear

We start by blending the sugar with hazelnuts with an electric whisk in order to obtain a kind of granulated flour.
After putting the chocolate in a bain-marie with the butter, we can add the flour we obtained by combining the sugar and the hazelnuts and mix vigorously with a spatula, until our dough is homogeneous.

When the mixture has cooled, add the 4 eggs.

Now we take our pear, peel it - removing the core and the central part - and cut it into thin slices.
We line a cake tin with wet baking paper, pour the dough obtained and gently distribute one by one each slice previously obtained from the pear.

Put in oven at 170 degrees and let it cook for about 30 minutes.

After this time, extract the cake from the oven and let it cool at room temperature so as to prevent the dough from drying out and - after - we can put it in the fridge.

Do you want an advice? The day after is even better!

Enjoy your cake!
